The Upper Blue might rage.

When's the last time the UB was at 1400 cfs? Back in the day I was such a water snob, I didn't bother boating it below 1000 cfs. Times have changed but according to this article, the UB may be back to its old glory this year.

Last year the Blue hit 1100 cfs and it was a tight squeeze under some of the trees across the upper section and some of the bridges on the lower stretch. Wonder if 1400 cfs will be too high to get oar rigs under those hazards? Regardless, more water and a longer season on the Blue would be sweet.

Let's not forget that they might also run water out of Roberts tunnel through Bailey- not bad either.....

JBL. If I remember right, there were a couple times we had to duck down in our kayaks to get through. The rafts were paddle boats and they barely squeezed under. An oar boat would be trouble at 1400. Holy Cow that's a great run. I remember seeing a cow elk and her calf standing on river right. The waves were so big we were looking down on them. That's an image I'll never forget.
