This is the perfect time to tell you that Marty whooped my ass in WA. I thought I was safe since you weren't around. I also remember this time when I put a post on the buzz about running Gore in October. Two random dudes met me at the takeout and one forgot his dry top. I had an extra fleece and the trash dude happened to have an extra plastic bag. That guy was one sketchy mofo for sure.

Todd, I can't wait to get back for another obligatory 'shwackin' through the north cascades hellfuck. With any luck the next one will be worse.....

Hilarious.....I can only imagine what you and Vince were saying when I wasn't in ear shot.....I would be seriously freaked out if some guy tried to boat with me down Gore wearing a friggin TRASH BAG!! HAHAHAHAH
Thanks for not judging a book by it's "Hefty" cover.

I got another one.....We met Peter W for the first time in Cali. We hardly know Pete at this time and Marty proceeds to visciously throw him off (head first) a 20 foot seal luanch.........Not cool but pretty funny to watch.
That's when we knew Pete was gonna fit right in........

How about getting your ass handed to you in a terminal hole and all you can hear is your buddies laughing their assess off in the eddy below.......

Go Dawgs!!!

Well said Booth.

I blame my swim in scissors on bad advice of counsel! How was I supposed to know 1200 was big jump compared to 900, at least for a class IV boater in a playboat . Seriously though, thanks to all those that save my shit including me. Even the tough days bring back positive vibes once they are in the past.

Time to get back in it,
