The real first drop on OBJ

Back in 2003, as a class V rookie, I ran the first drop below Ankle Breaker on a day with medium-high flows. I ran far left and had a good line as my Freefall bridged the mank trough. Next boat, a Y, dipped into the trough and launched off of the drop, also having a successful line, albeit, a little squirrelly. Since then, I haven't ran it, or seen anyone else run it, as the water levels have been lower on all of my return trips except for one. What I'm wondering is, does this get run much with high water levels? It certainly is one of the more challenging drops, especially with another drop just 20 yards later.

Sure, it gets run, but the putin is not as convenient if you don't run Ankle breaker. Also, it's a pretty manky drop even with a bit of water. We won't discuss my lines...

back in 98 I ran Ankle Breaker, pitoned and tore my bulkhead out of the side of my Gradient, dropped into the next little ledge sideways with nothing for my feet to brace against, almost swam, then went over that next drop out of control, did a gainer off the flake, and landed on my head.

now I put in below those two drops.
