Hi Phil. That was Shane and I you saw scouting 5 yesterday. It goes easily. Just aim a little right of center with a little right angle and expect you might be pushed over next to the left rock below. It still boats no problem, though..
I highly recommend doing all the numbers.
Rapid 1 is interesting. And, eddy hoping to find a way through all the rapids is great fun and exercise.
One things for sure though, at these levels all of the Numbers should be considered class IV because of the rocky consequences if a person were to flip. Class III boaters would likely have their hands full. That said, the Numbers are fun and pretty ,,, even at low water.
