We would definitely need to score paddle twirls then, maybe we should count fruit juggling in the SUP division. AHH just like Ottawa rodeo 1990 won by someone eating a banana while surfing. SUPs taking us back.

Don't worry Peter, Natalie and I will be kickin it new school. Especially Natalie. Here's what she's been working on for the rodeo.

That's right, we'll be throwing panams all over the place at this competition.

First of all thanks to ty for making this all happen, Matt Solomon and Hanna Farrar for judging, and Gretchen Grebe for holding it all together at the last moment. Also David Powers for busting out the rad hand blown glass prizes at the last minute.

Spectacular weather and a great level led to a great time. After going to meetings, and fighting for this park for 8 years, it was great to see it in action finally. You can count on this event and a spring event here in the future.

That said The highlight of the event would have to be Jonny Meyers second ride in prelims.

He did at least three moves where I am not sure his boat touched the water including a back loop linked with a McNasty both of which were GI- frickin- normous.

Lief hit huge phonics monkeys every ride.

The Bissel Missile had some huge loops and Tyler Allyn Busted out the shocker Brown Air in Finals, a possible 1st. Tyler Newton was robbed from finals by yours truly, what's really the difference between 13 and 130. But finals was pretty exciting.

The women's division was won with huge loops and Space Godzillas in the main hole. No spin to win in G-Wood.

Juniors was very close with lots of control demonstrated on the G wave and entry moves into the main hole.

Sorry no pictures yet

Final Results

1 Nate Kaup 85
