Is the Dolores doable in the beginning of April? Didn't pull the Salt permit like we had hoped...

Backcountry: you can't float anything in the Dolores that time of year unless they are releasing. In 2008 when the drainage was at 180% they released from the last week of March into June. I would imagine they are not planning on sucha long release this year.

You may have luck below Gateway as you have both the Dolores and the San Miguel contributing there.
