The Ashlu Gets SAVED! Thanks

Last night was the final meeting for the IPP on the Ashlu River. They voted this morning and the vote went 6-1 to reject the project.

YEAH!

Thanks to everyone who wrote leters, it truely made a difference.

One word of note: The squamish nation was in favor of this project and has a bit of angst toward the kayak/raft community. Its really important that show respect in this area and on every river for that matter. With bright, plastic boats on our car roofs we need to act responsible on and off the river.

Thanks again to all your efforts. Now all of you come up and check out this amazing river this fall when the rockies dry up. See ya then.
