A huge thank you to everyone who helped out and supported me when I pinned my ducky to a rock in three-miles rapid on the Dolores last weekend. Thanks to Miles, my husband, for being my boating partner and going into action, along with Ian, to save the boat. Thanks to Ian, Val, Jason, Wendy and Piper for their patience, effort, and hospitality (food! warm clothes!) Thanks to Angie and Mitch for more food and clothes and floating us out when we couldn't get the ducky unstuck. Thanks to Mark and Chris and family for finally getting the boat off that rock and drying it and all our stuff out and returning everything. All of you are a total inspiration to me. Your generosity of action and spirit made the whole experience a gift instead of a trauma. Thanks again to all of you - I hope you are peaceful, happy and well.
