Telluride whitewater...?

We'll be heading to Tellluride next week...last minute trip with no real planning to visit a friend. Is the water all gone in the area? We're from the eastern part of whitewater community (boatertalk) so no idea what's out there. I'm a solid class III+ hardboater and she likes to raft so we'd be looking for continuous III/IV guided raft trips.
Is anything running and who's the best?

live in telluride. nothing is running in and around telluride. from moab, you can hop on commercial trips down westwater, a nice class 3/4 river.

CO in the fall is all gradient, and no flow. Closest running III+ WW is the Gunny Gorge, but its a sorta complicated logistically and guided trips are probably kinda pricey. Stay in t-ride and go on a hike or hit the singletrack off the gondola on a mountain bike.

Blues & Brews

Checkout the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival on 14th, 15th, 16th if you can still get tickets.

2nd best things next to being on the water.

Yeah, Telluride will be crowded next week (like no camping and no hotels available). With no boatable water in the vicinity. Mountain biking would probably be a better option if you are definitely going to be there. Closest water (as stated) is Moab Daily/Westwater, and Gunny Gorge.

GARNA’s mission is to foster stewardship of the resources of the greater Arkansas River region through education, volunteerism and experiences.
