Telluride Playboating

I was surfing the last/biggest wave/hole on the upper doloras and I thought I felt a rock while placing a rudder stroke. Are the surf waves on the Upper D safe and deep enough. I was there at 2200 by the way.

Second how is the playboating on the san miguel deep enough to throw ends, and safe enough not to worry about hitting your head.

How long from telluride to san miguel surf waves.

Any park and play on the San miguel

Any plans to build a park and play and the san miguel in town.

san mig playpark is going through the channels now--hopefully in a year or so we can get it going. stoner [upper d] world class 2500 and up. 3000-6000 this year was unbelievable. we surf it down to about 1100 or so. mostly waves, definately shallow in spots, not loop/cartwheel friendly when less than 2k or so. no play [except on the fly waves] on the san mig except for the ledges [park n play] outside of naturita. not that great imho.
