Teen kayak students at New River Academy taught local Chilean students how to kayak in an effort to broaden information regarding their local river, the Rio Fuy.
The Rio Fuy is slated to be dammed in the year 2012. Author of this article Scott Wootten, is currently making a documentary of rivers the New River Academy paddles that are planned to be dammed. Scott led this event with great reception and enthusiasm from the Choshuenco community.
