We would like to run the box this weekend. We have paddled it at 2200 and had a great time. How is it at 3500. Do you want to hook up for shuttle?

Guys,

I'm also coming in with a friend from San Antonio. We'll be arriving around 7am on Sat. We want to hit up the Pilar on Sat....hopefully twice. Then onto the LTB on Sunday. We would absolutely love to meet up. The bigger the group the better at this level. I ran it last year at about 1800 cfs and had a blast. We wanted bigger water and I guess my prayer came true.....maybe to the extreme.
How should we meet? Are you guys camping out? If so, know where?

Devin.

A couple of us in Colorado Springs plan to come down Saturday afternoon and run the LTB Sunday. We'd love to hook up.

Mike,

I'll give you a buzz. We have arrangments to meet another boating group from Texas somewhere in the area. Problem is going to be where to find one another. We are going to run the LTB on Sat and hopefully the Pilar that same day. Depends on what kind of feedback we get back. Souse's Hole is apparently pretty nasty. I would expect to be in cell phone range sometime on Sat afternoon. At that point, I should have reasonable clear directions to our camping spot.
I should be the tall one with a huge grin on my face and a beer on my hand.

DEVIN --

Your first post said you were running LTB Sunday. Last post says Saturday.
Are you still running it Sunday as well?
We can't make it for a Saturday run; only Sunday.

Anybody else planning on doing LTB Sunday?

Mike, sorry to confuse you. I guess we've been trying to work out the details......which we are still trying to firm up. By around 4-5pm on Friday I'll know the specifics. I've been in communication with quite a few people but right now I only have solid plans with another group.
The other group and I discussed running both the LTB and Pilar on Sat and Sunday. Feel free to join us. If you don't want to run the Pilar then it is pretty easy to make arrangements with us to have your vehicle at the LTB take-out.
Call me for more specifics tomorrow. 512 762 5898. If I don't answer leave a voicemail and I'll make sure to get back with you. I may be in and out of cell phone range.
