Tall Timber Guage sandbagging?

We ran Cascade into the muddy and high Animas yesterday.

The animas was BIG. I have seen it as much as 1800 from Silverton and it was at least that big.

Anyway after I got home I saw Tall Timber read 15 or 1600 or so. The three of us thought there was around/at least 2K flowing. Between Junction and Hermosa there may have been 1000cfs total which would put tall timber at around 2500, with the only other tribs being crazy woman (which was running) and tacoma power for 3 or 400 max total.

So I am just saying tall timber is suspect, perhaps by around 20% or more.
I've never boated before, but I have posted a lot on Mountain Buzz!
