Great idea on taking a swiftwater rescue class. They're essential for your safety along with your friends and are actually pretty fun to partake in.
Out of the above listed classes, I would recommend looking into the downstream edge program. I have taken swiftwater rescue classes from both downstream edge and other instructional rescue programs like rescue canada (an 80 hour class), but found that the techniques and skills from downstream edge are much more practical.
Nick Wigston, the lead instructor at downstream edge, teaches all of the traditional rescue skills and concepts, but also goes into more practical applications that you would not learn in other classes. These additonal skills are much more relevant to whitewater in the Rocky Mountains and are crucial to successful rescues. I've seen his rescue work first hand, and trust me, it is miraculous.
