My buddy posted pics from our trip we took at peak this year. We were down there at just the right time as the 150% snowpack started coming out of the hills. A few days after we took the Animas pictures it peaked for the year at 8,000cfs in Durango.

If you've ever wondered what No Name looks like at 7 or Eye of the Needle at 4, check these out. Now mother nature, can we have it just one more time?

nice pics - thanks for posting. I put some high water video of rafting broken bridge rapid on http://www.raft-kayak.com/upper_animas.php if anyone wants to check that out. I'm guessing it was 5,000 cfs or more but someone with a better eye guage can tell.

Great photos bro. Never done the upper A, now I need to. To busy this yr running stuff down hear and only made it to Colorado once to boat (Gore Fest). Plan on hitting stuff up north this next spring/summer. Also nice to see the Dolores photos. I did that section way back in 93, brought back some good memories, adios, Atom...
