Wow... this brings me back to my favorite skatepark conversation ever... ok, maybe not really! So, when it comes to stomping it, both solutions are great, though I wonder about that technique with boofing into setting your bow down first. What technique do you use to accomplish this? Do you lean forward slightly, do you kick down your feet? What do you do with your arms if you land it like this?

If you want to get into the etymology of the term, it came from Skating & snowboarding where in landing a trick you forcefully shoved the board into the ground to stop rotation.
You "stomped" the landing. The general idea is you landed the boof, trick, whatever... smoothly. NO hand drag, no roll, you get the idea.

Long associated with clean lines (stomping), The Stomp is new lingo for boof to nose dive (not so flat landing), kinda the opposite of the late boof.

To stomp your boof down, just kick your heels down. This will cause you to sit up a bit so if you are planning on doing it make sure you come of the boof very far forward or you will just land sit straight up and possibly hurt your back. At the moment of impact fall as far forward as possible in a fluid motion to take the impact off of your back. The point of the stomp is to lessen the impact of a big boof on your back, also it allows you to carry more speed out of the drop.
