Steamboat Springs, new kayaker

Hello All,

Just moved to Steamboat, Co, this last November. Looking for someone interested in helping a beginner kayaker. My 17 year old daughter and I are wanting to learn kayaking. I picked up a used pyranha 221. Hope this is a good choice. She is 5'5, and 110 pounds. I am 5'8 and 155 pounds.

I am looking for the rest of the gear that we will need before we go kayaking.
I am planning on us taking at least two lessons. Any good ideas on where we should get these lessons at, and where we can buy good used gear at are most welcome.

Thanks for your help,
Jon

See Barry Smith at the highway house for lessons. Backdoor sports tends to have good deals on gear, they also teach kayaking.
