SSV commin up, guage correlation ?

This is the middle st. vrain where most of the water for the SSV run is coming from. Detail Graph

It has to be at least 250 if not 300 in there tonight (June 22), based on the calculation that what is coming into button rock (NSV upper) is coming out and. Did anyone paddle it today and get a look at the new guage stick? It was 4-5" saturday 5-6" Friday and 6-7" a Saturday, June 13th for the race.

Should be getting juicy

It was not juicy tonight. Gauge check at 5pm report was lapping 5". I was there yesterday afternoon as well and it was also about 5" when I checked it after the run and it felt slightly lower today.

I'd be curious to hear a visual report as well. With 700+ in SV @ Lyons there has to be some good juice in SSV. I can't imagine more than 350 is coming out of Buttonrock.

agreed, and 5pm isn't gonna show the meltdown bump for that day, probably doesn't get to the narrows until 6:30 or something. But there has to be some good water in the lower NSV too.

7" according to Booth today, thats nice medium flows, with a lot of the mank covered. Game on for SSV. Thankfully the front range finally got some sun and we have a little snow left...

Thanks for the report Ian. 7" is a REALLY good flow. High enough that the upper stuff is starting to be padded but not so high that the Narrows is unreasonable.

I'll be up there tomorrow night. I won't have a lot of time but I'm hoping to do a quick lap around 6 PM.
