Hmm, what is like SSV? Upper Big Tommy, (the section starting with garbage disposal and described at
Colorado Kayaking :: Colorado's online river guide and journal for whitewater kayaking, not the part in the guidebook or linked to from the flow page) sort-of. Many drops like Bear, but more continuous, with many harder drops, and very high pin potential. Continuous like source of boulder creek, but nowhere near as gnarly as Eldo on SBC.
That being siad, the V+ can easily be walked.
Anyone else w/ good comparisons? Psyched to get on anything SSV-esque!
