I'm looking into taking either a swiftwater rescue course or a whitewater rescue course. I understand they each have slightly different focus. Anyone take either course? Thoughts?

Rescue 3's SRT course is designed to fulfill NFPA (Ntnl Fire Protection..) standards/certification. WRT isn't. Both are essentially the same class however. WRT is a little cheaper, i think shorter time period, and dosent meet your Fire agencies needs probably. For kayaking/rafting both are good classes. ACA administers a good class as well, with essentially the same class outline.
