I believe there's also a limit on the amount of water that DW can put through the NF streambed based upon flooding issues. Not sure if this is a cap on tunnel flow or a max flow at, for example, Baily or Grant gage.

Roberts tunnel has a max capacity of 1000 cfs from what I remember. Never seen them pump that much, but it sure would be nice!

The north fork has been in the 800-900 cfs range with large tunnel flows for extended periods, so I assume flows in this range are well within the north forks carrying capacity.

I think if we ask for reasonable flows (400-600cfs in bailey) the river would not have any flood issues.

Thanks for the 411, I live in Bailey, if you front rangers all water your lawns more they'll have to steal more of the wests water for the unsustainable human condition, but I' ll be boating , and that keeps me outta denvers brothels and crackdens. Really though, thanks
