South Canyon question...

heading thru glenwood tuesday and was thinking of stopping at south canyon wave
what are the best levels and when does it start to wash-out?

The wave has changed a bit. Window is 2700-3800. Best is 3200-3600, at this level it is step with a consistent foam pile on top and real bouncy for aerials. Otherwise it is more of a flatter front surf wave.
Right now it is completely washed out.
Barrell Springs is really fun but all play is gone.
Durango and Salida/BV is where it's at for play. Due to recent cold wheather most creeks and smaller local rivers are low...
