South Canyon almost got me yesterday

Took the smaller of my two catarafts down the Grizzly run yesterday, and decided to take the big wave in South Canyon right in the teeth.

Had us up on one tube momentarily - I though I was looking at my first flip. Ironic it would have been, since I've done that rapid dozens of times. Just didn't have the speed climbing that thing.

Managed to fight my way out of it, but yeah, got my bell run. Interesting day.

it was 3700 today and was perfect. It's really steep, you fall down a 4 foot vertical face, pretty intense.
