Well. I thought I would update with my thoughts now that I have been out in the 11 foot Sotar a bit. As have many of my friends and my girl friend.

The 10 foot is noticeably . Smaller. Quicker. More Nimble.

But this is only by a verrry small margin. but still noticeable

Otherwise. the 11 footer is frekin sweet!!! the first trip was down numbers at 300 or something? It was tight, and I kinda wished I had the 10 footer at first..... but by #6 I really had to hyside on some funky eddy line and almost flipped in the 11'.... so at that point I was glad I had the 11' and I am super happy with the decision.

A few ladies have paddled it. And both LOVED it. Both commented on how confidence inspiring, fun, nimble, perfect. It is very stable!! Perfect combo of nimble/stability.

If you are a real small person, or looking for a SUPER FUN play boat. the 10 is worth a strong consideration....

otherwise, the 11' is a no brainer!!!

and the best part. I have been in my hard shell 10 days in October ( ELF) ... so its the perfect combo for me right now. Low/Easy water I hardshell. Big Fast water I SOTAR IK. till maybe someday I get some balls in the hardshell! lol.

Lastly, Sotar rocks! I have a custom Teal and Purple IK that I think will last for many many years!!!

anyways. that's my 2 cnts!!

Happy Boating!
