yup
Yo Sward, if your talking about the Brazos falls? Ya, it lands on rock. Ed Lucero was just in town and has hiked to those falls at low cfs and said it was a major hazard, if he won't run it at higher flows then I would say it is bad! The Trampas falls, into the Embudo would be runnable with higher flows. But never seen it higher in the last 10 yrs than when we ran it. the flow we hit it at was the highest it had been in 10yrs, and it was probably 70 cfs or so, the falls if you ran it, was really undercut on river left aganst the left wall, no way to get a boof in. Higher water on the Trampas would be better but would need a solid crew because of wood and lack of eddies. Your bros would be the "eddy", as in, catch your grab loop before the next drop. Hope to see ya this spring, adios, Atom.....
Mountainbuzz Still needs spell check refurbished?
