SOLO KAYAKING

I decided to give it a try my friends headed to the upper klamath and I didn't want to be gone all day. I had been thinking about doing a solo trip, I think all the debates I have read finally fueled my fire to give it a try so I packed my gear and my bike and headed out for some fun check it out. Looks like fun. I like the camera placement.

One good thing about the camera angle is that you can use the footage to work on your stroke. I am no pro but it sure looks like you are using a lot of hard rudder to turn your boat as opposed to using a stern draw or sweep. When you use a rudder or a breaking stroke to turn the boat you also loose a bunch of speed. If you can use a stern draw or sweep you can turn the boat and maintain your speed. Also, you look like you are only using your arms to paddle and not using your core too much. If you really use your core to paddle you will be able to paddle longer with more strength.

Keep having fun.

I agree with you Mut I have some work to do to improve. The river is the north fork of the rogue and it is the river bridge run it was fun.
