I thought the moral of the story was always put your money on the pink peep?

United is such a joke! I've never had a good experience with them.

i had a good experience with American Airlines. I flew Newark, NJ to Miami. Miami to Buenos Aires, Argentina. My creek boat with paddles tucked inside cost 150 dollars.

Show up early, dress nice, be real nice, and be ready to pay.

Does SW let you carry on a paddle?

Does sw let you carry on a paddle? I'm looking at flying to DEN, but have recently just stopped flying United.

Here is a link to a thread I started about flying SW:

Southwest Airlines now accepts kayaks

At the advise of the agent, I strapped the paddle to the boat to have only one fee. I think it best to call.

i'm going to fly with US Airway connecting to LanEc, on the web, US Airways say they allow kayak but the fee is $175, but no on LanEc side. My boat is a playboat shorter than my 191 paddle which will go along with it. what could go wrong?
