Its running right now, flows should be sick for the weekend. We need someone from outside the county to step up and run this. Stromberg its time to come to the Routty North. Slater Saturday C'mon.

Yo, Lotsa is out of town (with Leif's mom?). Evan, Leif and I were thinking of coming up. What's your thoughts on the flows? Call me or drop your number.

There are a few drops above and below that were cleaned out 1.5 years ago by a few of us and run. One is a cool hole in a wood jam and that stacks up on the lead in of the Falls. There are a few slides above that too. Then below there are some sweet double drop slides and then a nasty that has yet to be run. There is like a snaking drop with wood in the end.

I am missing this mission and bummed that I no longer have the RCRE mailing address. Traded in the 970 area code for a 425,

Damn

Gilman keeps telling me I will be happy about this. Maybe when the sun shines again.

off the couch

A little Action From a few years back.

Happy lines to all, landing flat almost made me really unhappy that day. Be careful going too deep or too flat. It is one of THOSE drops.

Mr. Belding Expels Pete Stromberg

Outlook for flows this weekend. It is supposed to be cold tonight/58 tomorrow and Saturday it is saying chance of rain and snow it could bring flows slightly back down. With the way things are picking up around here I think it will run. I would not recommend it below 500. I believe right now the low snow is melting and Slater is going to have a long season with plenty of high elevation snow not even being tapped yet. I will look into the road, as of a week ago it was still snowed in.. It doesn't mean we cant sled or hike in. On a side note a crew went to Willow today and said it was huge. The gauge doesn't read all the natural melt only what is being released from Steamboat Lake. And the Slater gauge is reading from yesterday. It is about to go off in Routt County!

It is going off in Routt County. Are you kidding me?!?!

The curiously strong Slater Creek is a 2 hour hoof from the 'boat. I hope the flow holds and the gauge is reading high snow. Who knows?

The gauge won't update, but I am sure it surpassed 1000 today. Tomorrow is a no-brainer. As for the weekend: I'd say it depends on temps. . .

Gauge finally updated. With temps forecast to drop 10-12 degrees and rain, forget it.
