I watched this also. I guess it would be a good idea to get into some remote gorges to avoid long journey's through jungles or desert?????

It looks like a major drowning accident to me!! Get tangled in your chute and strings while trying to roll??? Not for me and NOT COOL either!!!

Way too many things to go wrong and it's not like you can eddy out when it does. I've jumped out of lots of airplanes and I'm not sure I'd do it with a kayak. Bad for folks on the ground if you have to lose the kayak and I think the FAA still frowns on dropping stuff on people from 10,000 feet.

On the other hand this is probably all a Riot kayak is good for.

I remember watching the Burning Time video. I guess he didn't quite have the technique perfected at that time. He got stuck upside down and couldn't roll up. He ended up having to "swim" and then pull his chute. The FAA might not like it, but it was damn entertaining to watch.
