Sic Sickbird Loop writeup

Check out Forrest's writeup in the Boulder paper:

'Sickbird Loop': A multisport marathon that not many would survive, even in Boulder - Boulder Daily Camera

Toot toot! I can understand the old men not firing up Harmon Falls, but nobody? Just joking - the sickbird loop is still sick.

It's a nice change from the articles that usually make into that section of the paper, like "Riding your bike in short circles around Betasso Preserve", "Sporting climbing along the highway"...

Kyle, You are giving us shit too?? I had about 1/2 dozen gapers write in talking about how we didn't run Harmon at 375cfs but pro kayakers would. But I figured you would understand. I'm ready to stand there with a rope at 375 any day. I even put a shot of us running harmon at 200cfs on the photo caption to show it does get run but none of those armchair computer critics picked up on that. Actually Rolf was seriously considering it, NUT! but we talked him out of it and told him to come back tomorrow when he hadn't just killed himself for 16 hours nonstop. Our buddy Graeson, who drove shuttle did the mildly Ill bird climbing elephant buttress', rode betasso and then tubed the kayak course and topped it off with a Marg at the Rio. Thats Sick!!

I like the upgraded tube and rio section. And the title of the article... "Not many would survive... even in boulder..." Those boulderites are so hard they can normally survive anything!
