Shoulder Surgery Tomorrow

Tomorrow I go in for surgery on my right shoulder. I am having a torn labrum repaired and whatever else they might find in there that is not right. I missed this past season and it sucked. I have been paddling for 20 years and going a season w/o has left me with a void. I not only missed the paddling but the comradary shared amongst those while on the water.
This is actually my second surgery. My left shoulder was repaired back in '01. That one has felt bomber ever since. I am hoping to have the same success with this surgery as I did back in '01.
Wish me luck!

Had both of mine done. Follow the Docs orders and don't rush the healing process. Best of luck to you.

Sending good vibes your way for a speedy and complete recovery. I know what it's like to miss the boating season with an injury. Sucks big time. You'll have time to heal and do your PT during the winter. Rehab for next season that's my plan as well. Good luck.

Best of luck on your surgery today.
I'm scheduled for October 3rd myself for repair of a full thickness tear in the left rotator cuff.
Six months recovery = Idaho in June!

Wishing all good healing. I am 6 weeks and 4 days (but who is counting?!?) out from full thickness tear of right rotator; just released from the sling and working hard at PT, 'cause there's a another season on Deso, etc., coming my way and I AM going to be there!
