As of Sunday is wasn't running yet. With the cool down and showers over the past couple days I'm sure it's not going. It sounds like a lot of work was done in there over the winter to get wood out, but I'm sure there is still more.

Congrats on your post count

I hope it comes up and I'm ready to run it.

Thursday is supposed to be 79 degrees and cloudy and I'm hoping to get on the NF!

I talked to some guys that ran it on Saturday. Said it was low, sounded maybe too low. Wood wasn't an issue for them.

Yep, few ran it on saturday. Tried to convince me to go but it just looked too low, as he confirmed, when i looked at the gauge friday.

I guess there was one portage and it was from new wood. Not bad considering there was something like 15, 16 or so before. We seriously cleaned a LOT of wood out over the winter. Sadly, not sure if it'll run this year. Dems da breaks.

Hey thanks

really big thanks to the intrepid who cleaned all of the wood out. It opens up a new run for some of us dreading the previous endless portaging.

Crossing my fingers that the Little South comes in.

Third thanks,

most of the catchment that counts is between 10 and 11K ft, which has not run yet - it's always a narrow window, but it should come in in a next couple of weeks

the gauge at the main fork confluence is next to useless for figuring out the level since water backs up from the main branch to make it look higher than it is - better to use the two rounded rocks beside the tree on the water's edge on the opposite bank 20 or so yards further upstream (it's kind of obvious when you look at it) - the run is in good shape when water is starting to flow over the higher of the 2 rocks, and rockin' with a few inches going over it

There are also a couple of reservoirs that may affect flow on the little south. The greeley water resources map shows them:
Not sure if the comanche/hourglass reservoirs have outflow gauges online, I could not find them.
