What's the surest bet for payments in the mail? Is a cashier's check guaranteed to clear? I remember a post about scams and think there was something about cashier's checks or money orders that clear initially and then the funds end up not being there to back the check, and the recipient is responsible for the money. Cashiers checks are not guanteed to clear! The only way to be sure is to have the check cashed before you ship. Also, ship Forward Air generally they are the best for kayaks.
