Season kickoff Party and AW fundraiser

We are having a season kickoff party, BBQ, informal AW fundraiser, and slideshow at Lions park across from the Golden WW park. Date is april 10th at 1:00pm. We will have some informal river rescue clinics, and some contests to test your river safety skills such as Z-drag tug-o-war. We have some cool prizes too! Please come and join us to get the season started right.

I would like to compile lots of photos for the slideshow. Please email any good photos you have from last season (or this season) to downstreamedge@gmail.com .

Weather is nice, beer is on tap, throw bags are going to be flying. Anyone around Denver/Golden jonesing to hang out with kayakers and talk safety should come hang out for a bbq this afternoon. If you haven't already rsvp'd then byob and food, and come down to the Golden WWP and the park across from there. A wopping 53 cfs, perfect for the younger paddlers. Hopefully we will see you there this afternoon!
