San Miguel as an overnighter?

Is the San Miguel worth doing as an overighter into the Dolores?

Any good camping through there? I know there is private property, is there much blm land as well?

Beta on this stretch seems limited, so anything might help.

Hey Dave,
I have done it as an overnight putting in above Norwood Canyon and running through the ledges section. If I remember right, there was great camping towards the end of Norwood canyon. Beautiful ponderosa forest. Campsites are even marked. After ledges, I don't remember. Be careful of the lowhead dam in the Norwood Canyon section. Run far river left.
Hope that helps a tiny bit. -Maria
