San Miguel

Does anyone know what the San Miguel is like from the green truss bridge to the confluence with the Delores? I know there is a dam almost immediately below the bridge. Is that bridge runnable or could it be portaged easily with a small raft?
Thanks

If you mean the green truss bridge at the end of ledges then there is around 3 miles of class 2 plus water. I was there at pretty high flows about ten years ago and there were better waves then on ledges about a half mile below the bridge. I paddled to the powerplant and took out.

Peter,
Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if you could get past the pwer plant, either a a boat chute or a portage. If that could be done it would be a great multi day trip to the Delores and on to the Colorado. Although this year I don't think there will be enough water
