san juan overnighter?

how reasonable is it to go from sand island to mexican hat in 2 days at 850 cfs or so? big boats. roughly how many hours rowing each day would you guess?

It should be easy to do with 5 or 6 hours on the water each day if the wind cooperates.

easy to do, drive out and camp friday night, run shuttle sat morning then launch. we did that this weekend, camped at fossil stop and got back to durango around 6:30

Day Run

YOu should be able to maintain 3.5 mph = 7 hour trip. Used to run it as a day run all the time.
