San Juan currently at 750 cfs

Anybody done the San Juan from MH to CH at 750 cfs with a 16 foot raft? or recently at even lower flows?

It was at 750 a few weeks ago. We had one day that rose higher but the rest stayed @ 700-800. We all had big boats and did fine. With the flow @ this level, there isn't much current in sections. When the wind picks up, you must row guts or not move. On the last day I had to drag only three times as the sand bars are sometimes hard to discern.

Make sure to allocate enough days to enjoy the river @ this level and you'll really enjoy.

All rapids @ this level were bony but easy. The crux are the wind and sandbars

did it around 500-600 in a 14' and had no real issues. Govt is bony and a member of our group with limited experience got hung up on the rocks above John's. other than that, it was just slower than usual...especially after Oljeto.
