Safety Kayakers Needed

The AdventureXstream Vail race is looking for additional safety kayakers for the event on September 11th.

We are looking for boaters to assist with the event. The kayak portion of the race will take place on the Upper Colorado between Pumphouse and Rancho. Safety kayakers will be needed from 9:00am till 6:00pm on Saturday.

We are looking for people who can work the whole day or half of the day. Each safety boater will receive; $150.00 race voucher for assistance the full day or a $75.00 voucher for a half day, as well as an event T-shirt and lunch.

are you concerned that someone might get flipped in upper nothing and then swept into the no-hole in lower nothing?
the race should be held on the south (or is it east?) fork of gore canyon. i've heard this is a manky steep creek tributary that runs into the colorado near pumphouse. now that would be an adventure race!
