Safety Info

I am holding a Swiftwater rescue course on August 28th and 29th. The price is $150.
I am an ACA certified swiftwater rescue instructor. i believe that all boaters should take this course which is why i am offering it at such a low rate. They are normally $250 at a kayak school

Curriculum:
proper rescue gear and how to use it.
techniques for rescuing people and gear
proper rescue organization
how to remain calm in a rescue situation
we will set up real life scenarios to test your skills
and more

for more info call Nick at 303-809-8942 or email me at wigston@colorado.edu

The course will be held on the north fork of the south platte at foxton, or in waterton canyon. if the water is way too low, which it probably won't be, we will find another convenient location.
i can also do classes anywhere else in the state if there are enough people interested.

Does the class you're offering come with a SRT or WRT certificate....I need to get mine renewed for rafting, but would rather take a class geared toward kayaking.
