Runs to paddle in the Gunnison, Colorado area

I'm going to be moving soon to Gunnison. I was wondering what there is to paddle in the area. I'm comfortable with class twos and threes.

Oh yeah. I'd also like to know if these runs are permitted or not. I have a hard time figuring out if runs are permitted for some reason lol.

II-III pretty much removes everything in the Crested Butte area...but you still have the Taylor, Lower East, north bridge to Gunnison on the Gunny, the whitewater park, Gunnison to McCabes Lane, Lake Fork Box, possibly Lake Fork Canyon, and Cebolla.
Go out and buy Whitewater of the Southern Rockies or read up on www.eddyflower.com

None of these runs are permitted and there are lots more options if your willing to drive 2 hrs.

That book is one of the most amazing things ever made, but it's pretty expensive for a broke college student... Thanks man
