Ruby & Horsethief Canyon This Turs. share shuttle?

I am taking my daughter (5 years old) down Ruby & Horsethief Canyon in a Dynamic Duo Can't wait!

We are hoping to meet up with some one with siilar plans to help us with our shuttle. I have never done this run before and am not sure how easy finding a shuttle will be? I was hoping to leave my truck at Westwater.

Where is the best spot to meet up with other people to bum a shuttle? Loma? State Park campground? Westwater?

Is spring break week a popular time on this run?

Thanks for any help!

Hi Peter
I just moved to Grand Junction to be closer to rivers, and still haven't started my small business yet. And I'm rigging up my cataraft for a Westwater trip on Sunday, so I'm in that frame of mind. I could probably help you with your shuttle if I had a day or two's notice.

I am going to be at Loma at about 11 AM Saturday March 27 to drop and run the shuttle. You are welcome to join us if you want to work into that schedule.

Thanks guys!

We were hoping to go during the week. A Tue. or Wed. launch was or 1st thought. It now looks like rain on Tue and only in the 50's on Wed. Maybe I should wait a month or so and just run a day trip over near Moab? Dewey to Fisher Towers?

I don't want her 1st river trip to be a cold miserable ordeal. Thanks for the offers! I'll let you know as or plans mature around the weather. We might go for it.

Much Thanks,

I'll also be down there when you are, PM me if you haven't lined up your shuttle yet.
Dude, I'd see you on the river but I'm hardly ever out there.
