Rowing the Royal or Numbers?

I have not rowed either the Numbers or the Royal yet but want to. Anybody have any advice on the minimum flow to row 14' cat or 16' cat down either one? Any advice on the width at the current flow s (600-700 cfs)? I rowed my 14' cat down brown's below 300cfs, but have no idea about the numbers or royal.

Thanks in advance,

If you got your 14' cat down Browns below 300 then you can row either right now just fine. Numbers will be trickier than the Gorge...but you should still be good.

Been wondering the same, only I have a raft, not a cat. In general, what's the next step up from Brown's - the Gorge or the Numbers (at most flows, not just current)?

Bshock - when are you thinking of doing this? I might be interested if the timing is right.

for the ark - i'd say gorge is probably easier, more big water feel - numbers more technical

I'm speaking from a beginner point of view.

rowing the #'s down to 600 is fine and 450 in the gorge.
