Rope Stuck In Pine Creek !!!

We were Scouting Pine Creek on Monday the 27th and we saw a rope across most of the river a little ways below the meaty hole. We decided not to run in because of the rope. The rope was pretty much under the water and we couldnt find where it was attached too. I am not sure how it got there, but just a heads up if you are going to run it.

I believe that rope may be from the Pine Creek race last year. I watched the race and the awesome raft carnage. Afterwords while trying to bring a raft back over to the highway side someone threw a rope and did not hold it and all of us watched in horror as it sank. I posted it last year and have not seen or heard of it since. Any one going down should look out and I beleive it could be cut out b/c it is in a mellower spot close to the left bank. thanks for the heads up.
