Room for 16' oar rig on Pouder at 2.5'

Considering taking some folks down from Upper Mish through bridges.

Is there still room to work at this level or will it be too tight?

Any sections to look out for or to avoid completely?

Thanks, Dave

it's pretty rocky in places right now. if you care about your boat, you might consider a different run. i'm guessing that lower mish and poudre park will give you fits trying to dodge rocks in a lot of places.

I've run lower mish at 2.5 in a 14' oar rig and it was really tight and bony in places. Upper mish will be similar. If you're into tight, go for it.

Better yet, get some paddles and a cooler full of beer and run upper mish through bridges.

2.5 mish in oar rig Just say no

Honestly having guided on the poudre a 16 foot is a big boat at high water 2.5 running oars will likely get you a broken oar or worse off hurt you. Paddle raft maybe but it will still be a tight squeeze good luck ....
