Rodeo - this Wednesday...

Finally - we might actually have good weather for this one...

May 26th - registration at 5pm, event starts at 5:30. This is the qualifier for the East team to compete at the TEVA Mountain games the first weekend of June. That means, the top two finishers in the men's expert class and the top finisher in the woman's expert class will make up the "East Team" to compete against the "West Team". But...we will also still have intermediate and sport class.

This week we will give prizes as usual to as many places as possible, incuding prizes for the "Best Window Shade - in lieu of any good window shades, we'll fall back on the Best Swim", "Best Old School Ride", and "Friendliest Boater". Last time, we were able to have a drawing for the spectators, we'll try to pull that off again.

June 9th - Final rodeo in the series. This event will have the same format - expert, intermediate, and sport - and will also include prizes. After this event, we'll all gather for awards - not only for that night, but for overall winners.

The overall winner scores will be an accumulation of all the rodeos. We will give overall prizes to top scores - at least first and second, best lowest scores, and others. You will get equal points for winning first in sport or expert - so really, the overall winner can come from sport, intermediate, or expert. You also get extra points for winning the fun categories, so make sure to play, to win.

Overall prizes include Stohlquist PFDs, Rodeo Clinics from RMOC, Roll Clinics from Renaisannce Adventure Guides, Hydration Packs, Skirts, Gear Bags, I'm sure there's more...

Other prizes include gift certificates and gear from Mountain Miser, Alpenglow, Wavesport, Dagger, Wildwasser, Prijon, Stohlquist, Bomber Gear, Woody's, Toni Rigatoni's, Ptarmigan's, Country Mouse, Buffalo Rose, Meyer Hardware, Golden City Brewery, City of Golden, Golden Natural Foods, Sportsman Barber Shop, and more.

Be sure to thank all these folks for supporting our boating community!
