Roaring Fork ?'s

is there any riverside camping between basalt and glenwood?

we are thinking of doing a simple overnighter this coming weekend and i have never floated that section, so any suggestions are welcome. not looking for great ww but need to get a new oar rig setup wet and adjusted.

Boater forum for Roaring Fork Valley and surrounding area

I have created a google group for paddlers in the Roaring Fork Valley if anyone is interested in an easy way to get in touch with local boaters and meet up to paddle its . . .

All the land and water is private from town(Aspen to the river (Colorado) However there are options. PM me. I'll give you my #.

there is an island right above Carbondale that is owned by the town. Jeff Jackel parks and rec director of Bondale has always wanted to open up a campground on it. If you call the town and ask him about it He would give you the specifics for camping on it.

But at the flow we have right now you could float from Aspen to Glenwood in about 4 hrs.
