There's a bridge behind the ABC, at high water it can be impassable and there are no eddies to pull out and portage your boat through, if you want to scout it try scouting it along the rio grande trail there will be a trail to the left that goes down to it or you can go into the abc through the main entrance and go till the end (By the Marlow Photo Studio) there will be a trail with steps down to the river take it to the bottom and make a right to get to the bridge and check out the levels.
I don't know how wide your cat is but it does get tight for an oar rig, I know someone who did run it in a cat but it was a skinny one, definately scout along the trail and judge it
