River Boarding Safty....

Ok you River Boareds, (NOT SUP!!!)

My son wants to get into river boarding (and it does look pretty fun)

other than the obvious shin and knee things what should I have him watch out for?

My fear is foot entrapment... is this a real fear with the legs and feet dangling or with the flippers on do they stay up pretty well?
