Rios Guatemala film in Aspen and Edwards

I just caught a presentaion from these Guys in Breck.

It is a film about an expedition river trip in the Highlands of Guatemala that went wrong when some of the local people detained them over disputes over land, river access, mining and dam building. That is a very simplified review but I don't want to give too much away.

I believe they said Aspen July 6th and Edwards July 12th. I asked them to come on here and give more info..... not to be missed for sure.

They are trying to get more info out as far a responsible and sustainable tourism in Guatemala.

I will look for links to some of their stuff.

I'm sure if you contacting them Max would bring the film to Denver, I saw it too, it's a great film...no its not Dream Result but Definetly worth the view!

Want to thank the summit county river community for coming out and supporting the viewing in Breckenridge this past Friday. Was a great honor for TMCK to support such a great cause and be involved. There will be DVD's of the film for sale at the shop to help support the RIOS cause in moving forward and info on trips in November down in that area of Guatemala.

Thanks to everyone for showing up at the big premier of RIOS Guatemala, The Preservation of Wild Rivers. Ten Mile Creek Kayaks was a big supporter and took us down the Blue River below Green Mt. Reservoir today. Muchas gracias. Next showing is at CMS - Aspen on Thursday, July 5 - 7:00.
